ADD all and equal to 360. You get the value of a as 72. After this, put this value of a and answer choices value of b in given angle in figure. Only angle that gives positive angle after inserting value of a as 72 is answer. Only a=72 and b=60 gives the positive results. so b should be 60. Any questions are entertained.

What about answer choices 20 and 30 ?



We get after addition of all angles 5a=360, a=3605=72..
let us check for the value of b..
1) minimum value..
we have one angle as b−a2, now these has to atleast 0..
so b−a2=0........b−36=0.....b=36
2) Max value
2a-2b is an angle, so 2a - 2b = 0...a=b=72

Range = 36<b<72

Only 60 falls in the range

Can't the maximum value of b be obtained by considering 2a-b = 0 then b = 2a = 2(72) ?
