What is a Good GRE Score?
Test-takers can sit for the GRE once every 21 days, but they may take the exam no more than 5 times in a 12-month period, regardless of whether they are taking the at-home or in-person GRE. Also, note that the GRE does not have a lifetime limit. In other words, you can take the GRE as many times as you’d like.
If you are even considering a retake, there is a very good chance you should go for it. However, before doing so, you need to thoroughly analyze your current situation to determine whether that retake will happen in the span of weeks or months. Then, using the guidelines presented here, you should be able to determine the right answer for you.
