For line y = -2x + 10 ; plot it on the cordinate plane, by putting x =0, get y and y=0, get x. These are the intersection of the line with the axes.
For line y = -2x + 2 ; plot it on the cordinate plane, by putting x =0, get y and y=0, get x. These are the intersection of the line with the axes.
We need to find ar. ADEC = ar. ABC - ar. BED
= ar. ABC - ar. BED
= 1/2 ( 10*5 - 2*1 )
= 24
Answer is D
