Given that Set J consists of 5 elements. The range of the numbers in set J is 0. The sum of the numbers in set J is 40. And we need to find the mode of set J
‣‣‣ Mode is the number which has occurred the maximum number of times in the set. ‣‣‣ Range of a set is the difference between the highest and lowest value of the set.
The Range of the Set J is 0 and Set has 5 elements with Sun 40 => Highest Number = Lowest Number
Since highest and lowest numbers are the same so all the numbers in the set will be equal => Each Number * 5 = Sum => Each Number = \(\frac{Sum}{5}\) = \(\frac{40}{5}\) = 8
Mode is the Number which occurs the maximum number of times = 8
Clearly, Quantity B(16) > Quantity A(8)
So, Answer will be B. Hope it helps!
