This was the 19th question during my mock It will Be very helpful if any one can suggest short trick to solve this one..
If at a particular department store a standard shirt costs $100 and a fitted shirt costs 50% more than a standard shirt, and the total revenue from these two types of shirts in a given day was $2,450, how many fitted shirts could have been sold that day?
Indicate all possible values.

100*X + 150*Y= 2450
Therefore,
10*X + 15*Y= 245
Let no standard shirt is sold, X=0;
then Y=245/15 = 16.333
so max fitted shirt will be 16
now, if we take y=even then last digit can not be 5
For example if Y= 10
then 10 * X + 150 != 245
therefore Y = odd number in range [0,16].
Ans= 3,5,7,9,11,13,15
Therefore,
10*X + 15*Y= 245
Let no standard shirt is sold, X=0;

so max fitted shirt will be 16
