Question :- Although sound moral judgment is an important characteristic of an effective leader, it is not as important as a leader’s ability to maintain the respect of his or her peers.

Answer:-

Thesis (Disagree with the statement) :-
A sound moral judgement is one of the key aspects of a leader to maintain dignity among his peers.

Introduction :-
A leader is a person who should be a role model for his fellow people, and by extension, should be non-volatile in any circumstances. Moral judgement is a prime characteristic of a leader to make himself distinguished from the crowd. Therefore, a leader with a good moral judgement always have an edge over others and have a greater insight to lead a pack.

Body:-
A leader with a good moral judgement can predict the outcomes of a decision before he makes it. This quality can help him handle any crisis with a distinct mind.
Hence his peers could utterly believe the decisions taken by the leader without any hesitations. For example, MS Dhoni is considered as a best captain of India owing to the decisions he made during critical juncture of the game considering the aftermath too. The leader without this characteristic could be chastised despite the result since people tend to believe the person leading them is always esoteric and astute in taking decisions.

Concession Point :-
Some leaders with the good moral judgement could be spammed due to his faulty activities like involving in a crime or corruption. Hence he may lose the respect from his peers.

Conclusion :-
All the countries nowadays are in demand of a leader with a good moral judgement in order to believe that they are always in the right track and ultimately be pressure free considering the future. Hence a leader who have a good moral judgement are always in demand and respectful among his peers.
