Q = (4, 0)
R = (0, -3)
Perimeter of \(\triangle PQR \) = PQ + QR + PR
PR = \(8 - (-3) = 11\)
We can apply distance formula or Pythagoras theorem to find QR and PQ;
QR = \(\sqrt{4^2 + (-3)^2} = 5\)
PQ = \(\sqrt{8^2 + 4^2} = \sqrt{80} = 4\sqrt{5}\)
Col. A: \(11 + 5 + 4\sqrt{5}\)
Col. B: \(25\)
Col. A: \(16 + 4\sqrt{5}\)
Col. B: \(25\)
Subtracting \(16\) from both sides and dividing by \(4\);
Col. A: \(\sqrt{5} = 2.23\)
Col. B: \(2.25\)
