I am currently 34 years age and working in the Government of India for the past 6 years (2015-till date) as a Direct Taxes Officer involved in taxation and allied works. Prior to this I have 2 years IT Software work experience in Infosys Technologies (2010-2012). By qualification I am an Electronics and Telecom Engineer (2010 batch pass out). I have also been involved in the teaching sector for over 5-6 years (both full time for some years and part time for other).
I have given GRE this month and scored 319 (Q163 V156). I wish to apply to global Bschools for 2023 intake for full time MBA (Executive MBA will not help me in any way in the government sector). I aspire to get into Management Consulting or Operations/Tech (Amazon, Google, etc.). But almost every consultant has told me that it is very difficult for me to get into any top US Bschools and most of European Bschools because of my age (35 at the time of admission).
I can reattempt the GRE for score improving. My profile is more on field, public interaction, applying government policies kind of work which can help me set apart from other candidates.

Do you think I still stand a chance for admission into any prestigious Bschool ? which schools should I be aiming for given my background where my probability of admission will be higher?
