The number of ways of selecting that satisfy the “at least one girl and at least one boy” is C(11,4)-C(5,4)-C(6,4)=11x10x9x8/4x3x2x1–5–6x5/2 x1=330–5–15=310.
If there are more girls there must be 3 girls and one boy and the number of ways of selecting three girls and one boy is C(6,3)xC(5,1)=100.
100/310 or 10/31
