For second question the answer should be ‘D’.
Because in passage we have mentioned “ One transgenic food organism, the “Bt potato,” combines the genetic code of a regular potato with that of the Bacillus thuringiensis bacterium, resulting in a potato that is poisonous to many types of insect pests, but still edible by humans

But we do not have any point regarding its effect. We have a point in which we talk about transgenic food “ no confirmed case of harmful health effects from transgenic foods” we have a data but in that data no adverse effects are reported.

May I am missing something, please help.

The except questions are yes, except questions. However, the other answers choices can NOT be stated directly in the passage.

In other words, they are a mash-up of except and inference

D si mentioned in the last sentence of the 1st para

many observers are concerned that the long-term effects of these transgenic foods are still poorly understood.
