Moot means useless, that is the only option that matches here.

Really poor question. basically it tests almost nothing.

The sentence means: the fact the journal published something added no relevancy or had ANY impact to the facts already known. Eventually, the study was of no use.

Once again, a ridiculous question.

I guess it's better to repeat the official questions than to go for new material

This is a great consideration , especially for verbal because the GRE IS a verbal test and NOT a quant. Contrary to the common believe.

For quant if you do use Barron or MGRE books they are fine.

For verbal is VERRRYYYY difficult to find verbal material at the level ETS produce.

However we can have a trick

RC - USE the gMAT material. It is the same or the RC passages from the bIg Book. You have plenty of those.
CR the same as above
Tc and SE: or you do use the questions form the source "other please specify" using the tag search. I have posted in that area vrebal close GRE questions.

OR

Barron

OR

The challenge Verbal I have posted which are quite close https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-verba ... 17754.html

OR

Kaplan ar pretty decent https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-verba ... tml#p25471

OR

Our GPC Tests Verbal.

These are among the best value Verbal questions you have at your disposal.

The rest is quite misleading.

In our mind I should create NEW verbal questions for our GPC test that are 99.9% close the real GRE test. Believe me, but this is not an option in the short period or any time soon

The sentence says that because the psychopharmacological journal had published her work she was able to ______ herself of any prior misgivings about her control group. Clearly the fact that her research was published provided her with the confirmation/satisfaction that her control group was valid and thus rid her of any prior misgivings. Therefore we choose the word which most closely matched 'rid' and that is 'moot'. Answer is B

So you suggest kaplan is better than MGRE and Barrons?
Problem is ETS hasn't published many questions unlike GMAC, where you get a lot.
How is this Indian Company jamboree in terms of preparation questions?
