Both the quadrilaterals have Triangle LMK common to both quadrilaterals..
and the remaining part of the two quadrialateral are two separate triangles with SAME base and SAME height ( between two parallel lines) - LMK and LMK
so A=B

Let divide the quadrilateral in two triangles triangle MNK and triangle MLK and the parallelogram into two triangle MJK and triangle MLK
it can be found out they all have common base MK and have the same height
From this it can be conclude that QTY A = QTY B
Hence option C
