Let:
Number of clerks = x
Salary of clerk = a
Salary of supervisor = b
--> [ax + b(60 - x)]/60 = 120
--> ax + b(60 - x) = 7200
Also, b = 120 + a
--> ax + (120 + a)(60 - x) = 7200
--> ax + 7200 - 120x + 60a - ax = 7200
--> 60a = 120x
--> a = 2x
Let:
