The mean quiz score = total sum of the quiz scores / number of students. According to the graph, we find there are 25 students.
Add up the total sum of the quiz scores (prior to the credit given for the incorrect question):
3*2+4*1+5*4+6*3+7*5+8*5+9*3+10*2 = 170
The part about "question number 2" isn't necessary, since regardless of the question number, each student will be given 1 single point additionally to the scores represented in the graph. Therefore, you can add 25*1 points to the total sum for the new total sum, then divide by 25 to find the new mean.
(170+25)/25 = 7.8
Since 7.8 > 7, the new mean quiz score is greater than 7.
