Re: The Mayan pyramid of Kukulkan is more than just ___________ [#permalink]
A & D shouldn't be the best pair here..It has been suggested in the first half part of the sentence that it's more than xx, but the following text is all about how the structure functions as a sacred tribute for the bird. Should "more than" be delected in the first sentence a & d the best answer.

"Humble" or "prosaic" sounds weaker then what the following text means, clicking with "not more than". Thus feel B & E are better answers.

Exactly 'humble' and 'prosaic' seem more apt.

Guys I think you missed out COMPLETELY the question and its meaning

Honestly. it is not so difficult in the end

The Edifice is MORE than a temple in which the Maya revered or worshipped their idols. It ALSOOOOO a music chamber, and according to the sentence, I would say quite enthralling

A and D are more than correct as answer choices

there is NO WAY that humble and prosaic are a good pick into the sentence

Hope this helps
