The % increase from 54 m to 58 cm

A)The quantity in Column A is greater.
B)The quantity in Column B is greater.
C)The two quantities are equal.
D)The relationship cannot be determined from the information given.

Carcass

I am assuming it is \(cm\) instead of \(m\)

Col. A: \(\frac{4}{10}\)
Col. B: \(\frac{4}{54}\)

Since the denominator of Col. A is less than the denominator of Col. B

Col. A > Col. B

Hence, option A

Of course Sir

I tiny typo :)

Re: The percent increase [#permalink]
Quantity A = The % increase from 10 cm to 14 cm = 14 / 10 x 100% = 140% or increase 40%
Quantity B = The % increase from 54 cm to 58 cm = 58 / 54 x 100% = 107.4...% or increase 7.4...%
40 > 7.4

Correct Answer: A)The quantity in Column A is greater.
