We have:
Quantity A: (-7)(-5)(-3)(-1)(1)(3)(5)(7)
Quantity B: (-8)(-6)(-4)(-2)(0)(2)(4)(6)(8)
First recognize that, because Quantity B has a ZERO in its product, it must be ZERO:
Quantity A: (-7)(-5)(-3)(-1)(1)(3)(5)(7)
Quantity B: 0
So, our only task now is to determine whether Quantity A is positive or negative.
(-7)(-5)(-3)(-1)(1)(3)(5)(7) = (35)(3)(1)(3)(5)(7)
= A bunch of POSITIVE number multiplied together
= some POSITIVE number
So, we now have:
Quantity A: some POSITIVE number
Quantity B: 0
Answer: A

In this question try to use logic and common sense rather than trying to multiply each side.
Remember the basic rule: -ve * -ve = +ve. In other words whenever even number of -ve's are multiplied always the product is a +ve number.
Also remember anything multiplied by 0 is always 0. This is the only logic the question is trying to test.
In qty A when you list the number to be multiplied you get an even numbers from -7 to 7 inclusive. i.e {-7,-5,-3,-1,1,3,5,7}.
In qty B when going from -ve to +ve there is 0 as well which will transform the whole product into 0
Hence it does not matter what is the value for qty A as long as we know that the value is +ve.
option A
