Cost price = 30
List price = L P
Selling Price = S P
S = 40 percent higher than CP so S= 30 + 0.4 * 30 = 42
This SP = twenty five percent less than List price so
SP = LP Minus twenty five percent of LP = LP - LP * .25 = 0.75 LP
42 = 0.75 LP so
LP = 42/ 0.75 = 56
List price = L P
Selling Price = S P

Let the List price be X
Sp(USB) =0.75 X
Sp(USB)= 1.40*30
So, 0.75X =1.40*30
X=52. (List price)
Its not in option can someone explain please?
