CUBE X
Volume of cube = (length of one edge)³
So we can write: (length of one edge)³ = 125
Solve: length of one edge = 5
CUBE Y
A cube has 6 square faces,
54/6 = 9
So each square face has area 9
Area of square = (side length)²
So we can write: (side length)² = 9
Solve: Length of one side (edge) = 3
We have:
QUANTITY A: 5
QUANTITY B: 5/3 of 3 = 5
Answer: C
