There are several pairs of lines that meet the condition that the x-intercept of line j is greater than the x-intercept of line k.
Here are 3 possible cases.
Case i)
In this case, the y-intercept of line j is GREATER THAN the y-intercept of line k
So, Quantity A is greater
Case ii)
In this case, the y-intercept of line j is LESS THAN the y-intercept of line k
So, Quantity B is greater
Case iii)
In this case, the y-intercept of line j is EQUAL TO the y-intercept of line k
So, the two quantities are equal
Answer: D
