Timeline for giving GRE if I'm looking for August'16 intake

Hi Experts,
I'm looking to get admission into US Colleges for August'16 intake. So when should be the best time to give the GRE exam so as to be ready with admission processes as they start some 2+months ahead for colleges/universities. I'm thinking to give exam in the month of Feb'16, so is that feasible for the preparation as I'm bit good at Quantitative (Not Overconfidence, its just confidence on my Quantitative skills) and so, I need to start preparing for Verbal & AW as per my standards. Can anyone advise me whether I need to give exam in month of Feb/Mar'16 ???
