We can solve this question using matching operations (my favorite Quantitative Comparison strategy)
Given:
Quantity A: 3x+7
Quantity B: 7x+3
Subtract 3x from both quantities to get:
Quantity A: 7
Quantity B: 4x+3
Subtract 3 from both quantities to get:
Quantity A: 4
Quantity B: 4x
Divide both quantities by 4 to get:
Quantity A: 1
Quantity B: x
Since we are told that "x is an integer greater than zero," x COULD equal 1, in which case the two quantities are equal
OR x COULD equal 2, in which case Quantity B is greater
Answer: D
