women who attended the meeting = 40%
20+40/2 = 30%

I must be misunderstanding since I'm getting the wrong answer, but I'm interpreting the "Percent of the total employees who attended the meeting" as:
(% of total men)(% of men who attended) + (% of total women)(% of women who attended)
(0.35)(0.2)+(0.35)(0.4) = 0.2
Could someone please clarify where I'm misreading?
