Given: P* = (P + 5)/(P - 2)
So, if P = 3, then 3* = (3 + 5)/(3 - 2)
= 8/1
= 8
Answer: E

Given that For all P ≠ 2 define \(P^*\) by the equation \(P^* = \frac{P+5}{P-2}\) and we need to find the value of \(P^*\), with P=3
To find \(3^*\) we need to substitute P=3 in \(P^* = \frac{P+5}{P-2}\)
We get, \(3^* = \frac{3+5}{3-2}\) = \(\frac{8}{1}\) = 8
So, Answer will be E
