Apparently, archaic, besides meaning antiquated, can also mean "being characteristic of a much earlier, often more primitive period."

So, thanks to a dictionary, primitive and archaic seem like the best choices

1. It cannot be old-fashioned because that'll imply that the tribes are still in existence, but the question uses made.
2. Primitive is a perfect choice.
3. Obsolete though has similar meaning to primitive, it is not usually used for humans. So not the perfect choice.
4. Trampled is a big no.
5. Though archaic and antiquated have similar meanings, antiquated is more used on the things rather than humans. So though, its a hard choice between these two, archaic is better.

Interesting point. I never thought about how antiquated only refers to things and ideas, not people.

With this knowledge, u can better solve the problem thru the "process of elimination."
