As los angels have 2times more deaths than Houston in Pneumonia and influ.
assume houston have 100 people, act qsn los angels must have 175 people. if Houston have 50 deaths, act 2nd graph Los angels must have 100 deaths.
so, houston death %=50/100 and Los angels=100/175
now, 50/100 : 100/175= 7/8

Hi Sakib,
I want to know how did you assume the number of deaths in LA as 100?
deaths are 19% of population of Houston,i.e 19 people if you consider population as 100
deaths are 38% of "POPULATION OF LA" which would be 38% of 175.How can you just assume 100 directly from 50?percentage double from 19% to 38% is not the same for numbers.
You are considering 100 which is not correct.
As per question:ratio of deaths to ratio of total population should be then,
For Houston:
19% of 100
For LA:
38% of 175
end ratio:
19/100 divided by 38/175
=7/8
Your assumption of taking LA deaths straightaway as 100 is not correct
