By definition we know that point A(a,1) belongs to the line with the given equation, so we have that the coordinates are such that:
\( -\frac{1}{2}a +3=1\). Therefore \(a=4\)
Similarly, we know that point B(2,b) belongs to the line, so we have:
and \(-\frac{1}{2}2+3=b\). Therefore \(b=2\)
so a>b
\( -\frac{1}{2}a +3=1\). Therefore \(a=4\)
Similarly, we know that point B(2,b) belongs to the line, so we have:
and \(-\frac{1}{2}2+3=b\). Therefore \(b=2\)
so a>b
