Thank you for replying. My main concern is if US companies will consider my family business work experience seeing as majority of international students who find employment have worked a traditional 9-5 job at top companies previously

Hi anonymous123,

As the domain in which your family business operates (manufacturing/automobile) is relevant to your program of study and, therefore, your proposed goals, your experience with the business will be considered relevant provided you are able to showcase your learnings and achievements aptly.

Good luck!
