Group theory question.
Short answer: all candidates qualify, so to know who can program more than 1 language, subtract from the total those who only know 1 language. 15 - 4 = 11
Long answer:
Condition to qualify: must know at least 1 programming language. In mathematical terms:
p >= 1
candidates = c = 15 (all of them qualify, so all p >=1)
3 know 3 languages
4 know only 1 language
Number of people who know at least 2 languages (p >=2): qualified candidates - those who do NOT know at least 2 languages
= 15 - 4 = 11
My answer is A.
