We are given that x could be any number between 6 and 8. Thus x could be 6.1 or 7.9. Dividing these numbers by y will yield either a number less than 0.85 or greater than 0.85. Hence, the answer is D.

Since there is no info about x being a integer or a fraction we can test both
Case 1 x =6.1 then x/y < B
Case 2 x =7 then x/y < B
