Alvin’s Grand father was asked to state his age in year, His reply was, “Take my age seven years after, multiply it by 5 and then subtract five times my age seven years ago and you will know how old I am.” What was the age of Alvin’s Grand father ?

Let x be his age today. Then, after 7 years, his age will be x+7.
Multiplying with 5 will give 5x+35
Now, subtracting " five times his age seven years ago" i.e. 5*(x-7)= 5x-35
5x+35-5x+35=70 years
Hence, the answer is B.
