2nd and 13th are Head H H
Head occurs 8 times so you have 6 left H H H H H H H = 7 consecutive heads

given that the 2nd and 13th toss gives head , at the maximum only 7 consecutive heads are possible .

Thus , B is the answer.

Given that A coin is tossed 14 times. Heads occurs 8 times and tails 6 times. The second and thirteenth tosses are heads.

Quantity A: Maximum number of heads that can occur in a row

We know that \(2^{nd}\) and \(13^{th}\) toss are heads and we have only 8 heads.
SO, 7 of them can occur together, which can include either the \(2^{nd}\) or the \(13^{th}\) toss.

Clearly, Quantity B(8) > Quantity A(7)

So, Answer will be B
