Some of weights=8*100=800
Now we do know just the above
However, the weights could be 8 of 50 or 7 of 50 and 250 or ANy combination that gives you 8 numbers which average is 800
D is the answer

since any student can't be exactly 100, lets take the following example
98,98,98,98,102,102,102,102
here both are equal in number,
but lets take another scenario
1,98,98,98,102,102,301
simply there are n number of ways to divide 800 into 10 numbers
so answer D
