For question 2 - If anyone's confused between option B and option C. The correct answer is option C because it mentions gender to be a "significant determinant" which is the point of the passage.

Option B is wrong because it talks of gender being the "primary determinant". We know this to be not true already, the passage has stated clearly in the first para about age being the primary. The rest of the passage is looking at whether it is age and gender (whether gender also plays a significant role along with age).

For question 3 - the correct answer is option B because the author's predictions haven't changed much about Ghanaian women. They were independent land owners before colonialism. With colonialism, however, [we can infer that their rights got limited, they were treated as male property]. So after colonialism, they must've been more impacted than Kenyan women who didn't have as much freedom in the first place. Option B is correct.

For question 4 - The trap answer is Option C and the correct answer option E. While the second paragraph talks about the precolonial and after colonialism research of Ghanian and Kenyan women, the sentence" However, since age apparently remained the overriding principle of social organization in central Kenya, some senior women had much authority." suggests that this sentence talks of colonialism having less of an impact on Kenyan women after colonialism. This has a direct impact on the author's hypothesis, hence Option E is correct.
