First mock with no preparation

Hi everyone,
Today I took GRE Prep Test -1 by ETS (PowerPrep 1) and scored 314 - Q166 V148. I gave this mock with no preparation and without knowing what questions to expect. I just wanted to gauge my performance with zero prep and then take small steps in the direction needed.
My target score is 330+ and I am confident if prepared well, I'll reach it. What I am looking for guidance from the forum is:
1) How is 314 and the quant/verbal split - please be honest. Ofcourse this is with no preparation but still.
2) How should I go on preparing from here - planning, coaching and execution (any helpful links to the forum will help)
3) Realistic timeline I should aim given my target score

The quant is quite good and COULD be even higher but I see is not the problem. The problem is verbal. For example, here a good link to read from probably one of the best companies for the GRe target test prep https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/prep-c ... tml#p92250

back to the possible plan
1) The problem with the verbal side could be
- I do not fully understand the meaning of the sentence
- I am weak in words therefore my vocabulary is poor
- Both he issues above
