A sequence contains the terms 1,3, 5, 7, 9, where the nth term [#permalink]
1
1,-3,5,-7,9........n

as per the function 25th term = 49

1,-3,5,-7,9........49 and 49 is 25th term, an odd term.
the seq is nothing but list of odd numbers with negative at even places. since 49 is 25th term it will be positive
1,-3, 5,-7 , 9........49 on pairing each it gives -2

-2x(24/2) = -24

-24+49=25 < 50 hence B
