Any explanation please?

From what I gather, this is really a math problem. Compare the groups they give us. 1/3 have financial responsibilities. 4/5 have never had any sort of education regarding finances and of those 4/5ths, 1/3 have had a check bounce.

So 1/3 is greater than 1/3 of 4/5ths. Which gives us answer C: There are more seniors with financial responsibilities than there are seniors who have had checks bounce.
