The University of Pennsylvania (Penn or UPenn)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universit ... nnsylvania

As far as you think to another Univ in Pennsylvania that I ignore they are the same thing.

I think the closest course is this https://www.cis.upenn.edu/graduate/prog ... se-in-cis/

At PhD and master Level

The stats tell us the following

Fall 2020 CIS/MSE admission statistics

1538 applicants to the CIS/MSE program
192 candidates admitted
61 students matriculated
Candidates admitted to the CIS/MSE program: Average GRE: V 159/Q 168/AW 4.2

Quite competitive

if you aim to other programs more or less the entrance is at that level above

UPenn, due to its brand, attracts most top employers in this field. You can check out the companies visiting their CS career fairs to learn more about this. Although I agree that UPenn might not be the best school for DS, it does have a great recruitment environment and is worth going to. I personally know several people who graduated from UPenn (Computer Science) and started working at FAANG companies right out of college. I know DS is a specialization and you won't be eligible for all the jobs CS students are eligible for, but you should have access to CS career fairs and companies which visit there.
