Always translate the sentence in your own words

Even though she made a variety of reviews, which means not only negative or positive but a spectrum of reviews in different forms, the audience create a paradox

They expected the reviews instead to be flat or I.E. one and only single parameter

as such, they expressed doubt and distrust (not believe) to her reviews

I hope now is more clear

So, her reviews are not as per their expectation. So they will doubt her. This is normal behavior from someone who believes reviews should have a single method of interpretation.

How does it create a paradox? I don't think this is a paradox.

No they expected the reviews were based on just ONE standard.

She instead made reviews following different standards or executing a variegation of them

They expected X from her and she did Y so the paradox

Therefore, the critics doubted her genuine work

I feel although and paradoxically are redundant for B & D to be correct. Can someone explain the purpose of although in this question?
