So each one God has dominion over a certain area.
This dissection is similar to what we do have in the Eastern tradition. Therefore, it must influence the Greek one

Hi,
The Atrahasis text returns repeatedly to the division of the cosmos into three parts given over to different gods. Anu receives (i) ___________ over the sky, Enlil governs the wind and Enki rules the waves. Burkert argues that Poseidon’s speech in the Iliad on the division of the cosmos between the three chief male deities is so similar to the system in the Atrahasis that Eastern tradition must have (ii) __________ the Greek one.
The above highlighted words are clues for the blanks.
For blank 1, we have words likes rules and governs similarly blanks 1 should also have rules/ governs. Thus dominion fills in the best.
For blank2, the writer says that poseidon's speech is similar to Atrahasis so, we can use the word influenced.
Hope this helps!
