Can someone explain why G is correct for the third blank? I don't quite understand the second last and last sentences.

This is a huge, monolithic, piece of concrete to attack. It is amazing. Really, one of the most beautiful pieces of marble to tackle I ever face in my role of moderator. Stunning.

Basically this sentence says this: the new frontier of medicine is under attack because they do not like the establishment. the Gotha of classic medicine. Or the medicine as we know it right NOW. In this moment of the history
There is even an effort within psychiatry to (i)___ medical diagnosis and instead to treat dimensions of specific behaviors, such as fear or working memory.
This is a sentence in its intimacy related to the latter. It tells us that psychiatry is trying to move forward, to abandon the old schemes to embrace the new ones

realistically means = However. So we do have a shift. A counterargument to what is stated in the first two sentences.
This project, ALL that we are saying is NOT going to demolish or dismantle the actual (maybe soon will become old) school of thought. The consensus on which most of the scholars agree. Our health care system is based on the principles of the actual school. We are not ready or prepared for the new. Very complicated.
At the moment, we are thinking and reasoning like the watertight compartments on an oil tanker. Thinking that many diseases are not related to each other.
Think, for instance, many years ago: we did know that heart and its attacks were not related to our mouth. Nowadays, we do know scientifically that one of the reasons of heart attack is the tartar and generally your gum unhealthy
Notice how the hint for the last (iii) is the word distinct" after the blank. Clear-cut is the logical blank because the actual medicine is saying that the cure is one. Instead, we are discovering daily that a holistic approach is fundamental
