well x = 6m and x = 7n
multiply those two and you'll get x^2 = 42mn
m and n can be 1 and \sqrt{42} is obviously not 42 so option 2 is out
x is a multiple of 6 so it is also a multiple of 3
1st option is true and the last option is also true because if 6 is a multiple of x which is even, x is also an even number
therefore option D is right
idk if the explanation for x = 42 is right but this is how i solved it
