Key Property: The angles in a triangle always add to 180°
So, we can write: x + y + z = 180
Subtract x from both sides to get: y + z = 180 - x
Now take the given inequality x < y + z and replace y + z to get: x < 180 - x
Add x to both sides to get: 2x < 180
Divide both sides by 2 to get: x < 90
Since x is an INTEGER, its greatest value is 89
Answer: 89
