Hello everybody,
Hoping maybe someone here could help me.
I need to raise my score from a 147 to at least a 150. I understand that is not a high score at all, but......I have taken the GRE 2x now. Both times got a 147 on the quant section. This is despite studying for hours and hours. I paid for and used Magoosh initially. But in prep for the second time I used literally everything I could find including ETS prep.
I don't know what I am doing wrong or what I can really do to improve my score, but all I need to do is raise it 3 points to a 150 for the program I am interested in. Math has never been a strong suit of mine, but.
Any and all help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I am sorry to hear about your quant score. Q147 suggests a lack of fundamentals so let me suggest a few things:
1) Go through this Math Book chapter by chapter. The MATH Book

2) Start solving chapter-wise questions from this forum. If you read the theory of Percentage then do 8-10 easy-medium questions here and analyze where are you making mistakes. Do this for all chapters and if you are getting the accuracy of 85-90%, then and then move forward to the hard ones.
3) In quant, what generally happens is that we get many wrongs because we couldn't understand the prompt and couldn't simplify it. By solving these easy-medium questions, you will realize that how and where were you making mistakes.
4) Start slowly but keep practicing. You will be over 150 in just a few days. And to cross 150, you need to get only 12 questions correct in each Quant section. Yes, it's this easy and you will be there.
Also, I want to know how do you tackle a question in quant? Your thought process?
