Since lines l and m are parallel. we know that x + y = 180
So, one option is to replace Quantity B with x + y to get: QUANTITY A: x + 2y QUANTITY B: x + y
At this point, it may seem obvious that Quantity A is greater. If it's not obvious, we can continue by applying the matching operations strategy
Subtract x from both quantities to get: QUANTITY A: 2y QUANTITY B: y
Subtract y from both quantities to get: QUANTITY A: y QUANTITY B: 0
Since y must have a POSITIVE value, Quantity A is greater
