Then AB = 5√2 pythagoras
(5+5+5√2)>17

Though A is the right option, It is mentioned that x is greater than 90 so you cannot assume x as 90. If x was 90 degrees the perimeter would be greater than 17 i.e. 10 +5\(\sqrt{2}\). Since x is greater than 90 the perimeter will be more than that.
