There are 16 marbles in total.
So, P(selecting green) = 5/16
Since the first selection is PLACED back into the jar, P(selecting yellow) = 6/16 (since we still have 16 marbles to choose from)
Quantity A: P(green 1st AND yellow 2nd) = P(green 1st) x P(yellow 2nd)
= P(green 1st) x P(yellow 2nd)
= 5/16 x 6/16
= 30/256
= 15/128
Quantity B: 11/16
Since 15/128 is clearly less than 1/2, and since 11/16 is clearly greater than 1/2, we can see that Quantity B > Quantity A
Answer: B
