Useful (and often tested) fraction property: \(\frac{a+b}{c} = \frac{a}{c} + \frac{b}{c}\)
When we apply the property to Quantity B we get:
QUANTITY B: \(\frac{2xy +1}{xy}=\frac{2xy}{xy}+\frac{1}{xy}\)
Simplify to get:
QUANTITY B: \(\frac{2xy}{xy}+\frac{1}{xy}=2+\frac{1}{xy}\)
Answer: C
