Quantity A
Factor the quadratic equation to find x:
\(4x^2−17x+4 = 0\)
\((4x-1)(x-1) = 0\)
\(x = 4\) or \(\frac{1}{4}\)
Quantity B
\(\sqrt{\frac{1}{16}} = -\frac{1}{4}\) or \(\frac{1}{4}\)
If x = 4, then Quantity A will be greater than Quantity B.
If x = 1/4 and Quantity B is 1/4, then the quantities are equal.
Therefore, the relationship cannot be determined.
