I dont understand? How can it be B? What happens when x is 1? Why is it not D? Please I need help. Please

Quantity A: 1
Quantity B: x

Hello Brent,
I still do not understand why answer is B.
as you mentioned

from this, both sides can be equal that is 1 or B > A, so answer should be D . Is not it? Am i missing anything? Please let me know.

Silly mistake on my part. I've changed the B to a D
